I'm starting this blog or rather continuing this blog to do as most people do...share experiences. As a freelance cinematographer and photographer I get to meet interesting people and experience exciting things. I thought I could use this blog to share photos and experiences as I begin my life as a freelancer. To give some background, I graduated from Temple University with a BA in journalism in 2010. I interned with Comedy Central and worked a sales job in New York immediately out of college. Like most twenty somethings I've tried very hard to navigate the steps following graduation. I'm sure most of this will seem like a coming of age post but that is exactly where I am.
Without speaking ill of former employers who gave me the opportunity to make money, I've mostly been disappointed by my places of employment. My dream is to make a living telling great stories through film and photography. I hope this blog can act as a resource to other freelancers and people interested in photography and video production. I hope this blog can inspire others to pursue their passions and to take chances on lofty pursuits. I'm inspired by people who love their work and are immersed in their field. I aspire to possess the same mentality with my work. I hope you enjoy some of the photos I took today.
